Funtimes Tables! doesn’t just drill but ACTUALLY TEACHES the times tables, using a combination of mnemonic memory techniques and rules to help your child get the right answer, using cartoons! All they need to do is sound out simple words and understand simple addition/subtraction!

Learning the times tables is essential to moving forward in mathematics, but many children become discouraged and frustrated with rote memorization. Don’t let them get discouraged so early on! This app takes advantage of multiple learning styles and uses mnemonics.

The mnemonic techniques can also be applied to many areas of learning, not only to learning the times tables, helping your child excel in other areas of their education. Random drilling, as in other apps, is not very fruitful when there are just a few times tables that your child is having trouble with, since only a small fraction of the random selections are the ones your child needs to practice. Fun Times Tables! (aka Funtimes Tables!) quickly learns your child’s weaknesses counting BOTH ACCURACY and SPEED. The app then makes a custom selection of questions and drills the weakest parts of the times tables over and over, continually refining the selection.

Fun Times Tables! is also designed to quickly give you and your child specific information on how your child is doing with clear progress bars and rankings and even down to specific questions that give your child the most difficulty.

Note: If you have a child that knows the times tables already but needs to be quicker, you can also skip the teaching segments and have the student take advantage of the focused custom drills based on their weaknesses. Just review the "note to parents" section that explains how to do that.
